Table tennis sessions for military veterans are ongoing at the Dnipro State University of Internal Affairs. The activities are conducted by specialists from the Department of Special Physical Training.
According to experts, physical and psychological rehabilitation should occur simultaneously, as this is a key condition for the recovery of wounded soldiers. Sports play one of the leading roles in this process.
For more than six months, table tennis training sessions for veterans have been held at the Dnipro State University of Internal Affairs. The athletes are coached by Ukrainian table tennis champion Vasyl KOVAL.
Over the course of these sessions, a regular group of players has formed at DSUIA: veterans attend the training weekly and eagerly await the next meetings.
The training sessions are part of the Ministry of Internal Affairs’ “Friendly Support” project, organized by the Department of Education, Science, and Sports. #friendly_support
