A series of binary classes has been initiated at the Dnipropetrovsk Scientific Research Forensic Center of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Ukraine for cadets of the Faculty of Specialist Training for Pre-Trial Investigation Bodies of the National Police of Ukraine at DSUIA.
Anna BIDNYAK, Acting Head of the Department of Criminalistics and Pre-Medical Training at DSUIA, along with employees of the Dnipropetrovsk SRFC of the Ministry of Internal Affairs, introduced the students to the specifics of the work of the Expert Service of the Ministry of Internal Affairs, the peculiarities of appointing forensic examinations, and the operation of individual criminalistics databases.
Cadets practiced modern methods of fingerprint pattern extraction, technical examination of documents, handwritten texts and signatures, and personal identification by facial features.
The binary classes with experts will continue, allowing other aspects of the work at the Dnipropetrovsk SRFC of the Ministry of Internal Affairs to be explored.
