Kyrylo traveled from Zaporizhzhia to attend practical lessons at the DSUIA Driving School for people with disabilities, passed his exam, and received a Category “B” driver’s license.
Kyrylo, a resident of Zaporizhzhia, has been living with a disability since childhood. Despite this, he leads a full life, works, and travels.
He says that having a car was crucial for greater mobility in his daily work, so he bought a vehicle and became interested in taking driving courses.
Kyrylo completed the theoretical part of his training in Zaporizhzhia, while the practical lessons took place at the Driving School for people with disabilities at the Dnipro State University of Internal Affairs (DSUIA). Every week, he traveled to Dnipro to spend several hours working with an instructor, gaining hands-on experience.
The student notes that thanks to the flexible individual schedule, the high qualification of the instructors, the convenient infrastructure, and the modern cars with hand controls, the training at the DSUIA Driving School was easy and understandable.
After completing the training, Kyrylo passed the practical driving exam and received his long-awaited driver’s license. The certificate was presented by the head of the DSUIA Driving School for people with disabilities, Yevhen Khokhlov. Kyrylo now plans his first trip as a driver back to Dnipro, as he really liked the city.
