Cadets, officers, and instructors from the Department of Special Physical Training of the Dnipro State University of Internal Affairs (DSUIA) participated in an open training session.
The athletes performed specialized and preparatory exercises aimed at developing the physical qualities necessary for the event. These included traditional warm-ups, functional training for all muscle groups, cross-country running, and overcoming both artificial and natural obstacles. In addition to improving sports skills, participants also practiced working cohesively as a team.
The event took place in Dnipro’s L. Hlobа Park. The location was chosen deliberately, as the competition route will run through natural landscapes—open spaces, forested areas, sand, and mud. The task for the participants is to successfully navigate the obstacle course.
The DSUIA team will be participating in the “Wild Race” for the third time. The competition will take place at the end of October. As always, the event has a charitable goal: all funds raised will be directed to support 15 military brigades of the Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU).
