“Constitutional and Legal Foundations of Ukraine’s National Security and Defense Under Martial Law”: Online Lecture with a Practitioner at DSUIA

The event was organized by the Department of Theory of State and Law at the Educational and Scientific Institute of Law and Innovative Education of Dnipro State University of Internal Affairs (DSUIA).

As part of the online lecture, held in honor of Lawyer’s Day, DSUIA invited Colonel Dmytro HIZYUK, Head of the Crime Investigation Department for Crimes Committed in Armed Conflict, Criminal Investigation Department of the National Police in the Zaporizhzhia Region.

The lecture aimed to raise awareness among students about the threat of recruitment of Ukrainian teenagers and youth by the intelligence services of the aggressor state for sabotage and criminal activities.

During the lecture, the methods of recruitment, the offenses committed by recruited teenagers, including arson of military vehicles, were discussed.

The lecture also covered the responsibility for committing such offenses and ways to counter the influence of enemy intelligence services.
