First Vice-Rector of Dnipro State University of Internal Affairs (DSUIA), Ihor Magdalina, hosted a working meeting with representatives of the European Union Advisory Mission (EUAM).
The meeting focused on co-organizing the upcoming International Forum titled “Unite! Investing in Preventing Violence Against Women and Girls.” Attendees included Larisa Nalyvaiko, DSUIA Rector’s Assistant on Gender Issues, and Ove Urup-Madsen, Head of the EUAM Mobile Unit, alongside other participants.
During the meeting, the dates of the forum were confirmed, panel discussion themes were agreed upon, and responsibilities were assigned to the organizing parties. The participants also outlined the current tasks for each party.
In addition, the discussion covered further collaboration in the educational sphere, including organizing systematic events to study European practices for working with offenders, implementing correctional programs, and exploring their applicability in Ukraine.
The invitation of EUAM international experts to conduct joint training sessions and other educational activities aimed at enhancing professional skills was also a key topic of the meeting.
