In Dnipro, the regional organization’s championship for checkers and chess, part of the comprehensive “Dynamiada-2024” competitions, took place. The team from Dnipro State University of Internal Affairs (DSUIA) participated and secured prize-winning places.
The championship was held among teams from law enforcement agencies, rescue services, and other special services in the region.
DSUIA’s team included Dmitry Anisimov, Associate Professor of the Department of Special Physical Training, and Mykola Pozhidaev, Senior Lecturer from the same department.
Also representing DSUIA were Maksym Pochtovyi, Deputy Director of the Institute of Law and Innovative Education, Oleg Zavistovskyi, Senior Lecturer of the Department of Tactical and Special Training, as well as students Maria Konovalova, Bohdan Kozhushko, Maria Khlivna, and Igor Yarovytskyi.
In individual events, Maria Khlivna won first place in checkers, and Maria Konovalova took second place in chess. The DSUIA team placed third in the team checkers competition.
