Students of the Dnipro State University of Internal Affairs (DSUIA) won seven prize awards at the competition.
The sporting event took place on October 12-13 in Irpin, Kyiv region. More than 300 athletes from all over Ukraine competed for the championship title, demonstrating high levels of psychological and physical preparation.
Based on the results of the championship, the prize places in the “Police Self-Defense” category were distributed as follows:
1st place – cadets Oleksandr PASLIUCHENKO (PI-244) and Vitalina ZHELUDKO (DR-246);
2nd place – cadets Artur VILISOV (PI -342) and Mariia KHLIVNA (PI -246);
3rd place – cadets Dmytro KAPLENKO (DR-342) and Anastasiia BOIKO (PI -243).
Another victory was achieved by cadet Yuliia TOLMACHOVA, who took 1st place in the “Wrestling” category.
Horting is a modern type of martial arts that originated and is actively developing in Ukraine. It is positioned not only as a combat sport but also as a system of comprehensive physical training, self-improvement, and moral, spiritual, and cultural development.
