DSUIA Held an Open Training Session for Children from Donetsk Region

An open football training session was held at the university for children from Donetsk region, specifically for internally displaced persons. The event was organized in collaboration with the Donetsk Regional Center for Physical Health “Sport for All.”

The training was conducted by Andrii POROKHNIAVYI, a lecturer from the Department of Special Physical Training at DSUIA, and Oleksii KOSTENKO, a teacher from the Dnipro Lyceum of Security and National-Patriotic Education of the Ministry of Internal Affairs.

The sports event began with a run and warm-up, followed by special running exercises. The main part of the session focused on ball-handling skills, including exercises to develop attention, ball control, and dribbling. The training concluded with a friendly football match.

The organizers noted that the initiative was launched to engage youth in various sports, provide psycho-emotional relief for displaced children, and promote their “soft” integration into society. Open training sessions will continue, with the next event focusing on Sambo wrestling.
