“Conflicts and Their Manifestation in Professional Legal Practice”: Open Lecture at DSUIA

An open lecture on the subject of “Legal Deontology” was held at the Dnipro State University of Internal Affairs (DSUIA).

The lecture was delivered by Professor Olena MARCHENKO from the Department of Theory and History of State and Law, Constitutional Law, and Human Rights at the Educational and Scientific Institute for Training Specialists of Preventive Activities Units of the National Police of Ukraine. The event was attended by university representatives, including cadets and faculty members of the department.

During the lecture, the concepts, types, and causes of legal conflicts were discussed, along with the participation of legal subjects and third parties as conflict participants, as well as methods for resolving and preventing such conflicts.

Students received valuable information on conflict resolution techniques, the constructive and destructive roles of legal conflicts, and the procedures for addressing such disputes. Olena MARCHENKO emphasized that for a legal professional, resolving conflicts is a necessary condition for successful practice.
