A briefing was held for the students of the Faculty of Pre-trial Investigation Specialists of the National Police of Ukraine at the Dnipro State University of Internal Affairs (DSUIA).
To ensure transparency and impartiality during the exam session, maintain discipline, adhere to the law, prevent corruption-related offenses, and avoid behavior that may be perceived as readiness for such offenses, DSUIA’s anti-corruption officer Ruslan Lupyr conducted a briefing for the cadets.
During the meeting, the officer emphasized the need for immediate reporting of any corruption-related offenses. He also familiarized the attendees with the legal requirements regulating the organization of the educational process.
Additionally, cadets were informed about several high-profile corruption scandals that highlight the severity of the issue in the country. They also watched a video featuring comments from Ukrainian Armed Forces soldiers on the front lines regarding detected corruption offenses.
Ruslan Lupyr concluded by noting that corruption schemes, hidden cash, and dishonest deals undermine trust in the rule of law, demonstrating that corruption permeates all areas of life in the country, including healthcare, law enforcement, and government ministries.
