During a meeting of the Academic Council of the Dnipro State University of Internal Affairs (DSUIA), representatives of the university who achieved outstanding results in sports competitions were recognized.
Cadet Mariya KHLIVNA received a diploma and a medal for winning first place: she became the champion in the checkers competition as part of the comprehensive sports event “Dynamia-2024” organized by the Dnipropetrovsk Regional Chess and Checkers Society.
Associate Professor of the Department of Specialized Physical Training, Dmytro ANISIMOV, the coach and representative of the university’s team, was awarded a cup and a diploma for securing third place in the team competition in checkers.
Rector Oleksandr MORGUNOV wished the athletes continued success and future victories.
