Master’s Students of DSUIA Briefed Before Internship Assignment

A briefing was held for the second-year Master’s students from the Faculty of Training for Pre-trial Investigation Units of the National Police of Ukraine at the Dnipropetrovsk State University of Internal Affairs (DSUIA), who are set to begin their internships in police units.

The event was attended by Deputy Head of the Main Directorate – Head of the Investigation Department of the National Police of Ukraine in the Dnipropetrovsk Region, Police Colonel Inna VLASOVA.

DSUIA’s First Vice-Rector Ihor MAGDALINA highlighted the specific features of internships in practical police units and emphasized the importance of personal safety, discipline, and legality throughout the internship period.

The students were briefed on the internship procedure, the requirements for preparing materials, and the strict necessity to comply with Ukrainian law and professional discipline. Special attention was paid to adhering to anti-corruption legislation.

The internship is conducted to consolidate theoretical knowledge and acquire practical skills in National Police units, according to the training plan for the educational degree “Master” in the specialty 081 “Law.”
