DSUIA Celebrates the Global Initiative #ErasmusDays 2024

The event, organized by the Educational and Scientific Institute of Law and Innovative Education of the Dnipropetrovsk State University of Internal Affairs (DSUIA), took place in a hybrid format.

With a welcoming speech, the Director of the Institute, Doctor of Law, Professor Volodymyr SHABLYSTYI, addressed the participants. He congratulated the attendees on behalf of the university leadership, noting the experience of DSUIA students participating in the Erasmus+ academic mobility program during the war. He also reminded the international community of the ongoing events in Ukraine and highlighted the significant contribution of Ukraine and its citizens to the development of education, youth, and sports.

The event was moderated by DSUIA student Oryna KOVINENKO. Students from Ukrainian and foreign higher education institutions also participated.

A graduate of the Institute of Law and Innovative Education, Kateryna KHMELENKO, delivered a presentation on “The Importance of Participation in the Erasmus+ Program for the Professional Development of Future Lawyers.” DSUIA student Nadiya SLIVINSKA gave a talk on “The Experience of Participating in the Erasmus+ Academic Mobility Program at Vytautas Magnus University (Lithuania).”

The event also featured Gabriel KUMAR, a graduate of St. Columba’s School (Ireland) and the Kennedy Space Center Program (USA), who obtained a medical degree in neurosurgery from Dnipro State Medical University. His presentation focused on prospects for improving higher education in Ukraine.

Participants shared their experiences and encouraged DSUIA students and cadets to actively engage in Erasmus+ projects and take full advantage of the opportunities offered by the program.
