The event was organized by the Department of Advanced Training and Specialization at Dnipro State University of Internal Affairs.
To conduct the training courses via video conference with police officers from the Main Directorate of the National Police of Ukraine in Zaporizhzhia region, DSUIA engaged its academic staff: Kristina DEREVYANKO, Senior Lieutenant of Police and Lecturer at the Department of Administrative Law and Procedure, and Yuliia ZAVGORODNIA, Associate Professor of the Department of Theory and History of State and Law, Constitutional Law and Human Rights.
During the online session, current issues in police management and their potential solutions were discussed, along with future prospects. A special focus was placed on developing gender competence in line with UN and NATO standards.
The training was part of the ongoing cooperation with practical units of the National Police of Ukraine, aimed at effectively organizing short-term professional development courses for police officers at their respective locations. These sessions are held regularly and play a crucial role in enhancing the professional activities of police personnel.
