NEWS, Sport for military veterans

The event was organized by the Department of Special Physical Training of Dnipro State University of Internal Affairs.

A sitting volleyball training session was held for military veterans, where specialists from the department taught participants proper techniques, including ball serving, passing, and partner coordination. This game promotes communication, brings positive emotions, and provides beneficial physical activity with minimal injury risk. According to doctors and psychologists, adaptive sports help veterans regain a sense of control over their lives, boost self-esteem, and foster a sense of personal significance.

Sitting volleyball training sessions are held at DSUIA every Thursday at 3:00 p.m.

The event was part of the Ministry of Internal Affairs’ “Friendly Support” project.
