Dnipro State University of Internal Affairs (DSUIA) held curator-led sessions dedicated to the 75th anniversary of the founding of the European Union (EU) and the prospects for Ukraine’s European integration.
During the events, students learned about the history of the EU, its key stages of development, and core principles, including human rights, democracy, equality, and the rule of law. Lecturers highlighted shared values between Ukraine and the EU, such as aspirations for peace, freedom, and progress.
Discussions addressed both the opportunities and challenges Ukraine faces on its path to EU membership, as well as examples of programs and projects supported by the EU in areas like education, justice, and public administration.
Students expressed that these meetings deepen their understanding of European values, underscore the significance of international partnerships for Ukraine, and foster a sense of active citizenship, which will support Ukraine’s ongoing integration into the European community.
