The Dnipro State University of Internal Affairs (DSUIA) was recognized for its significant contributions to enhancing legal, psychological, and social support for regional communities. First Vice-Rector of DSUIA, Ihor Mahdalina, participated in the event.
During Social Worker’s Day celebrations in Dnipro, DSUIA representatives who have contributed to the advancement of social work in preventing and countering domestic and gender-based violence were honored. Deputy Head of the Regional State Administration, Nadiia Zadorozhna, expressed gratitude to DSUIA staff for their active role in training social workers, psychologists, and other professionals within the region’s social services sector.
Acknowledgment letters from the Regional Military Administration were awarded to Serhii Vyshnevskyi, Head of the Psychological Support Department; Alina Harkusha, Associate Professor of Criminal Procedure, Candidate of Legal Sciences, and Police Major; Karina Pisozka, Associate Professor of Administrative Law and Process, Doctor of Philosophy in Law, and Police Senior Lieutenant; and Kristina Derev’ianko, Lecturer in Administrative Law and Process, and Police Senior Lieutenant.
Zadorozhna also extended special thanks to DSUIA leadership, especially First Vice-Rector Ihor Mahdalina and Rector’s Assistant on Gender Issues, Larysa Nalyvaiko, for their support in socially impactful projects, expressing hope for continued collaboration.
