Practitioners Share Experience with Educational Security Service Trainees at DSUIA

NEWS

A session for trainees specializing in Educational Security Services was held at Dnipro State University of Internal Affairs (DSUIA), featuring experienced practitioners as guest speakers.

Speakers included Natalia Urman from the Department of Main Inspection and Human Rights Compliance of the National Police of Ukraine, and Tetiana Morgalenko, Head of the Human Rights Compliance Sector of the Dnipro District Police Department.

The session focused on issues of accessibility, gender equality, and human rights. Participants were introduced to the “Custody Records” system, which the National Police of Ukraine has implemented to ensure the safety of detainees and police officers. This system automatically records all actions from the moment of actual detention until the detainee is placed in an isolation unit or released, enhancing oversight and human rights compliance during detention processes.

This meeting provided trainees with valuable insights into the critical aspects of police work and human rights protection in today’s environment.
