Years of Experience and Valuable Insights: DSUIA Cadets Meet with Migration Police Representative

A meeting was organized for students of the Faculty for Criminal Police Units at the Dnipro State University of Internal Affairs (DSUIA) with Colonel Andrii Grebeniuk, Senior Operative Officer of the Migration Police Department at the Dnipropetrovsk Region Main Directorate of the National Police of Ukraine.

During the event, Andrii Grebeniuk introduced the cadets to the distinctive roles and responsibilities of various criminal police operational units, particularly the Migration Police. He discussed their core functions and operational focus areas, especially in detecting and combating criminal offenses. Grebeniuk shared his insights on the challenges faced by the Migration Police under martial law conditions.

Special emphasis was placed on identifying and addressing misinformation actively propagated by Russian internet sources in Ukraine, a critical topic amidst ongoing informational warfare.

In the concluding part of the meeting, cadets had the opportunity to ask Colonel Grebeniuk questions regarding the specifics of migration police work, its challenges, and the methods used to counteract illegal migration.
