Detailed Explosive Ordnance Training: Elective for DSUIA Cadets

Cadets from the Faculty of Specialist Training for Pretrial Investigation Units at the National Police of Ukraine participated in an elective course on explosive ordnance.

The Department of Criminalistics and Emergency Medical Training at DSUIA organized this session, during which cadets visited the Explosive Ordnance Disposal Unit of the Main Directorate of the National Police in Dnipropetrovsk region.

Specialists from the unit demonstrated techniques for detecting explosive devices, including the use of a trained service dog. Cadets received explanations on the specific challenges law enforcement officers face in areas close to combat zones. They also had the opportunity to familiarize themselves with models of anti-personnel mines, cluster munitions, hand grenades, and other types of explosive ordnance.

This training equipped cadets with essential knowledge and skills related to explosive detection and safety, preparing them for potential field operations.
