DSUIA Rector Oleksandr Morgunov Congratulates University Students and Staff

At a meeting of the Rectorate of Dnipro State University of Internal Affairs, students, cadets, and staff members were awarded certificates and diplomas for achievements in industry and professional competitions.

The following were recognized for their performance in the first stage of the 15th International Language and Literature Competition for Youth named after Taras Shevchenko:

• 1st place: Diana Harmadir (1st-year student of the Educational and Scientific Institute of Law and Innovative Education);

• 2nd place: Diana Parkhomyk (2nd-year cadet of the Educational and Scientific Institute for Training Specialists in Preventive Activities of the National Police of Ukraine);

• 3rd place: Viktoria Pikhotina (1st-year cadet of the Faculty of Specialist Training for Criminal Police Units of the National Police of Ukraine).

In the first stage of the 25th International Petro Yatsyk Ukrainian Language Competition, the following received certificates:

• 1st place: Yelyzaveta Ihnatchenko (2nd-year cadet of the Educational and Scientific Institute for Training Specialists in Preventive Activities of the National Police of Ukraine);

• 2nd place: Mariya Forostyanova (2nd-year cadet of the Faculty of Specialist Training for Pre-Trial Investigation Bodies of the National Police of Ukraine);

• 3rd place: Darya Shabalina (1st-year student of the Educational and Scientific Institute of Law and Innovative Education).

Certificates were also awarded to students of Dnipro’s Security-Oriented and National-Patriotic Education Lyceum of the Ministry of Internal Affairs:

• 1st place: Sofia Fedorenko (10th-grade, Class V);

• 2nd place: Liza Bailo (10th-grade, Class V);

• 3rd place: Darya Starokol’tseva (10th-grade, Class V).

Recently, DSUIA held the “Best in Profession” competition, with participants from both the permanent and temporary staff of the university. Among officers, Senior Lecturer of the Tactical-Special Training Department, Police Lieutenant Colonel Artem Plakhotnyi, won first place. Among cadets, Ilya Sivachynskyi, a student of the Faculty for Training Specialists for Pre-Trial Investigation Bodies of the National Police of Ukraine, took the gold. Winners received corresponding diplomas.

DSUIA Rector, Police Colonel Oleksandr Morgunov, wished everyone continued success in their studies and professional mastery, encouraging them to achieve even greater results.
