On November 7, 2024, the Department of Scientific Activity (DSA) met with the heads of student research clubs to discuss future collaboration and improvements to students’ research work.
Denys Proshyn, Head of the DSA, emphasized that the university administration and the department are committed to enhancing club activities, as these sessions provide students with essential skills in scientific information search, selection, correct formatting of theses and reports, public presentation, and participation in scientific discussions. Senior Research Fellow Olena Shkurko presented a summary of the clubs’ work from September and October, noting that all meetings were conducted at a high level.
The meeting also reviewed suggestions for improving research work among students, collected through a survey of the most active members of the University’s Student Scientific Society. Special focus was placed on preparing research projects by young scholars planning to submit works for the Scientific Research Competition for undergraduate students in institutions affiliated with the Ministry of Internal Affairs. The first round of the competition will be held at the university in November-December 2024.
