The event was organized by Anzhelika MOROZ, a specialist from the Psychological Support Unit of Dnipropetrovsk State University of Internal Affairs.
Cadets from the Faculty of Training Specialists for Pre-Trial Investigation Units of the National Police of Ukraine participated in the session titled “Features and Methods of Supporting Mental Health During Wartime. Prevention of Mental Disorders.”
During the session, the cadets were introduced to the basic principles of maintaining psychological well-being under stress, gained practical self-regulation skills, and explored methods for preventing mental disorders. They acquired valuable knowledge about sustaining emotional stability in challenging life circumstances.
Following the session, participants noted that the insights and skills they gained would enable them not only to care effectively for their own mental health but also to provide timely psychological support to those in need. The event will contribute to better preparing future law enforcement officers to perform their duties in stressful situations and equip them with skills applicable both in their professional activities and daily lives.
