The Dnipro State University of Internal Affairs (DSUIA) has launched a series of practice-oriented sessions on the use of criminal analysis as a tool for combating crime. These sessions are made possible through collaboration with the Criminal Analysis Department of the National Police of Ukraine.
The first session was conducted by Police Lieutenant Colonel Iryna RUSNIAK, Deputy Head of the Analytical Work Division at the Criminal Analysis Directorate of the National Police in Dnipropetrovsk Region.
Key topics covered included the primary goals and tasks of criminal analysis units, the role of analysts working alongside investigative teams, the utilization of databases, and specialized software for crime analysis.
This training cycle aims to help cadets consolidate theoretical knowledge acquired during their studies before commencing internships. Additionally, it offers insights into potential career paths within the National Police of Ukraine.
