As part of the International Campaign “16 Days of Activism Against Gender-Based Violence,” the Psychological Support Division at Dnipro State University of Internal Affairs organized a series of events aimed at fostering zero tolerance for violence and enhancing cadets’ psychological awareness.
Head of the Division, Serhii VYSHNEVSKYI, emphasized the inadmissibility of physical and psychological violence in educational, family, and professional settings, highlighting the importance of raising awareness about this pressing issue.
Trainer Vladyslav BIDNYAK addressed key aspects of bullying, including its signs, types, causes, and consequences of psychological pressure. Participants engaged in practical exercises designed to dispel common myths about bullying, promote a positive psychological atmosphere within groups, and develop skills for nonviolent communication. Special attention was given to the psychological effects of bullying and its prevention, which sparked lively discussions among the cadets.
The knowledge gained during the events not only laid the groundwork for effective bullying prevention in the professional environment of future police officers but also contributed to fostering a culture of mutual respect and tolerance in their interactions with citizens.
