Driver Achievements: A New Graduate of the Driving School for People with Disabilities

NEWS

At Dnipro State University of Internal Affairs, another graduate of the driving school for individuals with disabilities successfully passed the exam and received a Category “B” driver’s license. Deputy Rector of DSUIA, Police Lieutenant Colonel Ihor KOVALIOV, attended the event and presented the license.

Mykyta, a serviceman, is one of those who took advantage of the opportunity to study at a driving school adapted for people with disabilities. The training program considers the individual needs of each student and includes both theoretical instruction and practical driving lessons.

Mykyta noted that he had only limited experience driving a car before, but thanks to the DSUIA driving school, under the guidance of experienced instructors, he significantly improved his skills. Today, he feels confident behind the wheel and plans to purchase his own car.

The driving school program for people with disabilities, initiated at the university, aims to support individuals striving to acquire new skills and overcome barriers. Classes are conducted in specially equipped vehicles, enabling adaptation to various physical capabilities.

The driving school instructors highlighted Mykyta’s perseverance and diligence during his training. His success has become a source of inspiration for other students, particularly those overcoming injuries sustained in military service. Such examples show veterans a path toward a renewed life.

Dnipro State University of Internal Affairs continues to implement initiatives aimed at supporting people with disabilities, creating conditions for their integration into society and achieving personal goals.

We sincerely congratulate Mykyta on his accomplishment and wish him safe journeys and future success!
