An event for lyceum students was organized by the Psychological Support Department of the DSUIA as part of the global campaign “16 Days Against Violence.”
The workshop was led by folk artist of the National Union of Ukraine, Inna Ivinska, with the participation of Anzhelika Moroz, a psychologist from the Psychological Support Department of the university, and Natalia Shynkarenko, a psychologist at the Dnipro Lyceum of Security and National-Patriotic Education named after Oleksandr Hostishchev.
The process of creating a protective motanka doll is a form of art therapy. It enabled students to express their emotions, reduce stress levels, and eliminate negative thoughts. Working with natural materials helped develop sensory sensitivity, foster social connections, and enhance the overall psychological well-being of the students.
Immersed in the creative process, the participants honed their concentration and attentiveness, which allowed them to disconnect from daily worries and achieve a sense of calm. The result was not only an improved emotional state but also a unique protective doll—a symbol of personal achievements and inner harmony.
