Creating a Safe Environment: Lecture for Educational Security Service Specialists

The Department of Administrative Law and Procedure at DSUIA organized a lecture on “The Role of Police Divisions of the ‘Educational Security Service’ in Creating a Safe Educational Environment for Participants of the Educational Process.”

The lecture was delivered by Captain of Police Denys SHULHA, Head of the Educational Security Service Department of the Patrol Police in Dnipro, and Captain of Police Anastasiia RIABOVOLENKO, Inspector of the Educational Security Service Sector of Synelnykivske District Police Department, National Police Main Directorate in Dnipropetrovsk Region.

Denys SHULHA discussed the organizational framework for the activities of educational security officers in Dnipro’s schools, highlighting scenarios they encounter, including a prolonged series of mass bomb threats targeting educational institutions and kindergartens. He emphasized the key tasks of educational security officers during wartime, such as establishing a safe environment, conducting preventive measures, and organizing interactive sessions to enhance students’ awareness.

Anastasiia RIABOVOLENKO presented the activities of the Educational Security Service Sector in Synelnykivske District. She outlined the primary functions of the service and shared practical experiences in working with educational institutions.

The lecture also featured a discussion on critical challenges faced by schools and the practical solutions employed to address them.
