Graduation of Patrol Police Officers at DSUIA

Twenty-six attendees from the Department of Advanced Training and Specialization at the Institute of Postgraduate Education and Distance Learning of the Dnipro State University of Internal Affairs (DSUIA) have successfully completed their training and received certificates.

The advanced training program was attended by patrol police officers from Dnipropetrovsk, Zaporizhzhia, Poltava, and Donetsk regions.

In his address, DSUIA Vice-Rector, Police Lieutenant Colonel Ihor KOVALYOV, emphasized the critical importance of high-quality training for patrol officers. He noted that patrol police are often the first responders to public calls, and the safety of society largely depends on their professionalism. The Vice-Rector also highlighted that continuous self-improvement is an essential component of effective service.

The training program covered a wide range of patrol duties, including the fundamentals of patrolling, checkpoint service, explosive ordnance handling, first aid, as well as firearm, tactical, and psychological training. Special attention was given to ensuring public safety and maintaining order under martial law conditions.

Upon completing the course, all participants received certificates confirming their readiness to perform their official duties at a high professional level.
