Leading legal practitioners, scholars in the field of law, and higher education students participated in the conference. The event was opened and participants were welcomed by the Vice-Rector of Dnipro State University of Internal Affairs, Candidate of Legal Sciences, Police Lieutenant Colonel Ihor KOVALIOV.
Over 50 participants from Kyiv, Odesa, Dnipro, Zaporizhzhia, Kharkiv, and Kropyvnytskyi took part in the discussion.
During the conference, current issues in the field of domestic operational and investigative activities were discussed. In particular, experts considered problems of legal and information-analytical support for the activities of operational units of the National Police of Ukraine. Issues related to conducting operational-technical measures and the use of special equipment to counter crime were also raised.
Special attention was paid to operational and investigative counteraction to specific types of crimes, as well as to the operational support of criminal proceedings, including under martial law conditions.
Participants focused on issues of interaction between operational units and other services of the National Police and law enforcement agencies in combating crime. In addition, relevant aspects of conducting covert investigative (search) actions were discussed.
The conference became a useful platform for exchanging ideas between scholars and practitioners, which helped identify key areas for improving operational and investigative activities. Participants noted the importance of such events for strengthening cooperation between science and practice, as well as for shaping new approaches to countering modern challenges in the law enforcement sphere.
