Students from the Dnipro Security and National-Patriotic Education Lyceum named after Oleksandr Hostishchev visited one of the fire stations of the State Emergency Service of Ukraine (SES).
The event, held as part of career guidance efforts, introduced the cadets to the organization of fire station operations and the key responsibilities of the SES. These include emergency response, rescuing victims and providing them assistance, preventive measures to avert crises, as well as conducting training and drills.
During the event, students were shown modern equipment and technology used in emergency response operations. Rescuers shared their professional experiences and highlighted the unique aspects of their service.
Special attention was given to the professional training and personal qualities required of rescuers, such as physical endurance, stress resilience, and the ability to perform under extreme conditions.
