Table Tennis Training for Military Veterans at DSUIA

NEWS, Sport for military veterans

The Dnipro State University of Internal Affairs hosted a table tennis training session for veterans, as part of its ongoing rehabilitation and social support program for Ukraine’s defenders.

Table tennis serves not only as a sporting activity but also as an effective method for physical and psychological rehabilitation. It aids in restoring coordination, improving fine motor skills, reaction time, and overall physical tone. Additionally, the game reduces stress, strengthens emotional resilience, and fosters social interaction.

During the session, veterans had the opportunity to refine their skills, receive guidance from coaches, and connect with like-minded individuals. Participants highlighted the significance of such initiatives in restoring physical activity and reintegrating into normal life post-service.

DSUIA remains committed to supporting war veterans by providing opportunities for adaptation, growth, and socialization through sports and active recreation.
