An elective session aimed at improving skills in providing emergency care to children was conducted for attendees of the Police Academy’s Center for Initial Professional Training.
The session was led by Major Stanislava MYRONIUK, Associate Professor of the Department of Tactical and Special Training, and Captain Mykola DROK, an instructor in the general professional training cycle of the Police Academy.
The focus was on the specifics of providing aid to school-aged and preschool children, highlighting differences in care for children versus adults and the practical steps to take when identifying injuries.
Instructors demonstrated an action algorithm for emergencies and provided recommendations on overcoming fear, maintaining self-control, and ensuring high-quality care for victims.
Such sessions equip attendees with essential practical skills critical for their professional roles.
