Vectors of Cooperation: SBGS Representatives Visit Dnipro Police Lyceum

MIA Lyceum

A working meeting with representatives of the State Border Guard Service of Ukraine (SBGS) took place at the Dnipro Lyceum for Security-Oriented and National-Patriotic Education of the Ministry of Internal Affairs named after Oleksandr Hostishchev.

The event was attended by the Head of the 3rd Border Detachment named after Hero of Ukraine Colonel Yevhenii Pikusa (Luhansk Border Detachment—”Revenge” Brigade), Colonel Serhii Lozinskyi, and the lyceum’s administration.

During the meeting with the Lyceum Director, Kyrylo Nedrya, opportunities for cooperation in conducting academic and practical classes were discussed. Particular attention was paid to involving SBGS specialists in the educational process, extracurricular activities, and elective courses. The prospects for joint development of interactive training modules aimed at providing lyceum students with a deeper understanding of the work of border guards were also explored.

Professional orientation activities were emphasized as well. Plans include organizing meetings between lyceum students and border guards to familiarize them with service specifics and visits to SBGS training centers.

In conclusion, the parties discussed the possibility of organizing practical training sessions where lyceum students could gain hands-on experience in performing tasks typical for border guards.

Additionally, Serhii Lozinskyi presented the Lyceum Director with the brigade’s flag and a commemorative shell casing.

Such initiatives will not only enhance students’ knowledge but also foster a sense of responsibility, discipline, and teamwork skills.
