Individual and group training sessions for military veterans are ongoing at Dnipro State University of Internal Affairs (DSUIA). These activities are organized and conducted by specialists from the Department of Specialized Physical Training.
Throughout the year, the university supports defenders who have undergone rehabilitation in Dnipro by hosting weekly sports activities. Veterans can participate in table tennis, martial arts, adaptive volleyball, and training sessions in a fully equipped gym.
The training program, tailored by experienced DSUIA instructors, is designed to meet the individual needs of each participant. It focuses on improving physical fitness, recovering from injuries, and maintaining overall well-being.
According to experts, gym sessions play a crucial role in veterans’ rehabilitation, contributing not only to physical recovery but also to enhanced emotional and psychological resilience.
The training is part of the Ministry of Internal Affairs’ “Friendly Support” project, managed by the Department of Education, Science, and Sports.
