Career Guidance Meeting for Lyceum Students by DSNS Staff

MIA Lyceum

Representatives of the Main Directorate of the State Emergency Service of Ukraine (DSNS) in the Dnipropetrovsk region visited the Dnipro Lyceum of Security Orientation and National-Patriotic Education named after O. Hostishchev to introduce students to the work of the Radiation, Chemical, and Biological Protection Unit.

During the event, students were shown the unit’s material and technical equipment, including dosimeters, respirators, oxygen masks, and specialized equipment for detecting and analyzing hazardous substances.

Lyceum students had the opportunity to familiarize themselves with protective suits for radiation, chemical, and biological protection, along with a practical demonstration of their use.

The event provided students with insights into the work of the DSNS, deepened their knowledge about careers in the security and defense sector, and broadened their understanding of the vital tasks performed by emergency responders.

This meeting was organized as part of the lyceum’s career guidance initiatives.
