To ensure comprehensive and thorough preparation of cadets for their future service in law enforcement, practical elective courses have been organized at the Dnipro State University of Internal Affairs.
Cadets of the Faculty for Training Specialists for Pre-trial Investigation Units of the National Police of Ukraine attended an elective session focused on working with the Unified Register of Pre-Trial Investigations (URPTI). The session was conducted by Senior Lecturer of the Department of Criminal Procedure, Police Lieutenant Colonel Denys YURIEV.
The URPTI is one of the key tools for investigators. Proper data entry, the drafting of procedural documents, and their registration are essential stages of pre-trial investigation. Cadets were instructed on the primary algorithms for working with the register, the sequence of actions for entering data, and generating extracts from the registry.
Additionally, cadets participated in an elective session led by Senior Lecturer of the Department of Criminal Law and Criminology, Police Captain Alina CHORNA.
This session focused on the key aspects of applying criminal law norms in the face of modern challenges. Special attention was given to the analysis of practical cases, allowing cadets to reinforce their theoretical knowledge and develop decision-making skills in complex legal situations.
The event was conducted in an interactive format, enabling participants to engage in discussions, ask questions, and present their proposals.
