The regular meeting of the Academic Council was held under the leadership of Rector of Dnipro State University of Internal Affairs, Police Colonel Oleksandr Morgunov. The session focused on key issues related to the university’s development for the current year.
Significant achievements of university representatives were highlighted:
• Pavlo Osadchyi, a PhD candidate at the Department of Criminal Procedure, obtained a Doctor of Philosophy degree in the field of Law.
• Maksym Khadzhyiskyi, Chairman of the Student-Cadet Council, received a letter of appreciation from the administration of the Rudnev City Multidisciplinary Clinical Hospital for Mothers and Children for his valuable contributions to public and volunteer activities, as well as for setting an example of social responsibility and patriotism among young people.
The financial plan for 2025 and the annual financial report for 2024 were approved, along with the allocation of funds to support student-cadet self-governance. The implementation of the university’s Anti-Corruption Program for 2024 was reviewed, summarizing the results and outlining directions for work in 2025. The execution of decisions made by the Academic Council for the second half of 2024 was assessed.
The Council also discussed matters concerning the expulsion of PhD candidates, adjustments to the academic process, and updates to the educational schedule. Additionally, a number of teaching and methodological materials were recommended for publication and use in educational and scientific activities.
The meeting became an important step in shaping the university’s strategic development, ensuring a high standard of education, and supporting initiatives aimed at enhancing the institution’s academic, scientific, and social activities.
