Students of the Dnipro Lyceum of Security and National-Patriotic Education named after Oleksandr Hostishchev were visited by representatives of the Main Department of the State Emergency Service (SES) of Ukraine in the Dnipropetrovsk Region.
The lyceum students were introduced to the functions of the Special Emergency-Rescue Unit, learned about the specifics of pyrotechnic operations, and discussed the complexities of humanitarian demining.
SES specialists explained the work of teams involved in neutralizing explosive devices left behind after combat operations. The students had the opportunity to see specialized equipment used during these tasks.
Special attention was given to safety rules in case of discovering suspicious objects. The lyceum students learned how to act correctly in such situations to avoid danger and understood the importance of promptly reporting such findings to professionals.
This meeting provided young people with an excellent opportunity to gain a deeper understanding of the critical work performed by rescuers and the importance of personal responsibility for their safety.
