Dnipro State University of Internal Affairs hosted an online seminar for police officers engaged in educational security.
The event focused on “Legislative Changes in Ukraine Following the Ratification of the Council of Europe Convention on Preventing and Combating Violence Against Women and Domestic Violence: Challenges and Issues.”
The speakers included senior lecturer Mykola REPAN and associate professor, senior lieutenant of police Karina PISOTSKA from the Department of Administrative Law and Procedure. Additionally, senior inspector of the Department of Community Police Officers of the Preventive Activities Directorate of the Main Directorate of the National Police in Dnipropetrovsk Region, Major Serhii KNYSH, contributed to the training.
The seminar was opened by Oleksii MAMCHII, Head of the Department for Professional Development and Specialization, and Andrii SOBAKAR, Head of the Department of Administrative Law and Procedure.
Participants examined the specifics of legal qualification and response to offenses related to sexual harassment and gender-based violence.
