For the third consecutive year, the team at Dnipro State University of Internal Affairs has been actively supporting charitable initiatives.
On weekends, cadets from the Faculty of Training Specialists for Pre-trial Investigation of the National Police of Ukraine have joined the volunteer efforts.
At the local branch of “Pavuchary from Dnipro,” the cadets have been handcrafting pillows for the military. The future law enforcement officers take full control of the sewing process – from selecting materials to the final assembly of the products. The completed pillows are sent to the frontlines, along with well-wishes and words of support from the cadets.
The youth also assist with camouflage requests: they regularly weave protective nets for Ukrainian military equipment and positions. The carefully chosen colors and reliable weaving technique help create versatile products that save the lives of defenders, shielding them from the enemy’s watchful eye.
The completed net was presented to war veteran, Lieutenant General Oleg Borshchevych, who continues to deliver urgent supplies to fellow soldiers. The military officer thanked the cadets for their consistent support to the defenders who are fighting for Ukraine’s victory under extremely challenging conditions.
