The city of Dnipro hosted the “Women’s Voice: From Idea to Action” Conference and the HORIZONTAL 5.0 Festival, which gathered women leaders of civic organizations, as well as local residents, to discuss new social challenges and support the women’s movement.

The event was made possible through the collaboration of the Women’s Peace and Humanitarian Fund (UN), the “Pomagayem” Charitable Foundation, the “MARTIN Club” NGO, and UN Women. Thanks to the support of the Rector’s Assistant on Gender Issues, Doctor of Law, Professor, and Honored Lawyer of Ukraine, Larysa NALYVAIKO, the scientific community of DSUIA was represented at the event by Senior Lieutenant of Police Khrystyna DEREVYANKO, Senior Lieutenant of Police Karina PISOTSKA, Major of Police Yuliia TKACH, and Lieutenant Colonel of Police Borys LOGVYNENKO.

During three strategic sessions, DSUIA researchers engaged in dynamic debates and presented key university initiatives, including the Driving School for Persons with Disabilities, sports projects for military veterans, and the Research and Training Laboratory on the Rights of War Victims.
