The Department of Tactical and Special Training organized a training session for cadets of the Educational and Scientific Institute for Training Specialists in Preventive Activities of the National Police of Ukraine.
During the session, two-way fire simulation trainers from Skiftech were used. The theoretical part covered the tactical and technical characteristics of the system, its application in training, and equipment setup instructions.
In the practical phase, cadets practiced small tactical group actions while apprehending an armed offender hiding in a building and simulated combat in an urban environment. Under the guidance of experienced instructors, they worked on approaching a building, entering a room, perimeter control, and suspect detention.
Special emphasis was placed on:
• Situation assessment and surveillance
• Operational environment analysis
• Role of team leaders in small tactical groups
• Defining objectives and mission execution
Such exercises enhance cadets’ teamwork, develop operational thinking, and refine interaction skills in real tactical conditions.
