Cadets of Dnipro State University of Internal Affairs visited one of Dnipro’s medical institutions to support military personnel undergoing rehabilitation.
During the meeting, a friendly chess and checkers tournament was held, creating an atmosphere of mutual support and sporting excitement. Cadets believe that such events have a positive impact on the well-being of service members, as social interaction, mental engagement, and pleasant emotions contribute to psychological recovery.
Sports rehabilitation for military personnel is one of the key initiatives at DSUIA. The university regularly organizes table tennis sessions, gym training, chess matches, martial arts training, and other activities.
The event was held as part of the “Friendly Support” project initiated by the Department of Education, Science, and Sports of the Ministry of Internal Affairs.
