Students of the Faculty of Training for Criminal Police Units at Dnipro State University of Internal Affairs took part in a chess tournament.

Sports activities are a key focus at DSUIA, where cadets, students, and staff consistently demonstrate high athletic standards and frequently win various sports trophies.

Recently, the Faculty of Training for Criminal Police Units hosted a chess tournament—a sport that enhances focus, logical thinking, planning, and structured decision-making. Additionally, chess teaches discipline and positively influences academic performance.

As a result of the tournament, the second-year team secured victory, while in the individual competition, Police Private Mykola KLIKIN claimed first place.

The tournament provided an excellent opportunity for participants to showcase their intellectual abilities, strengthen resilience, and develop strategic thinking, all of which are crucial skills for future law enforcement officers.

Congratulations to the winners, and best wishes for future achievements!
