NEWS

As part of the “Forensic Science” course, the Department of Forensics and Pre-Medical Training at Dnipro State University of Internal Affairs conducted a practical session on crime scene examination using forensic training grounds.

Special attention was given to the investigation of war crimes. Future investigators practiced crime scene examination techniques in various scenarios, including torture and mass graves, ballistic missile strikes, the shooting of a civilian vehicle, and an attack on a checkpoint.

Professor Ihor PYRIH emphasized the importance of this investigative procedure during martial law, highlighting the need for modern forensic equipment to collect and document evidence.

The session provided valuable hands-on experience, allowing cadets to deepen their forensic knowledge and acquire crucial professional skills for their future careers.
