Master’s Level Law Students at DSUIA Pass Qualification Exam

Master’s degree students of Dnipro State University of Internal Affairs (DSUIA) successfully passed their qualification exam in Law (specialty 081). The attestation was conducted by the examination committee based on the assessment of general and professional competencies and learning outcomes established by the higher education standard for this specialty.

The examination committee included practicing professionals, among them:

Head of the committee – Inna VLASOVA, Deputy Head of the Main Directorate of the National Police in Dnipropetrovsk Region, Head of the Investigation Department, Colonel of Police;

Natalia PROTSYK, Deputy Head of the Investigation Department, Head of the Organizational and Methodological Unit of the Main Directorate of the National Police in Dnipropetrovsk Region, Colonel of Police.

From DSUIA, the committee was represented by:

Vladyslav LAZAREV, Deputy Head, Dean of the Faculty for Training of Pre-Trial Investigation Officers, PhD in Law, Lieutenant Colonel of Police;

Dmytro SANAKOIEV, Head of the Department of Criminal Procedure, PhD in Law, Associate Professor, Lieutenant Colonel of Police;

Vasyl BEREZNIAK, Head of the Department of Criminal Law and Criminology, Doctor of Law, Senior Researcher, Lieutenant Colonel of Police;

Hanna BIDNYAK, Head of the Department of Criminalistics and Pre-Medical Training, PhD in Law, Associate Professor, Major of Police.

The exam included a written theoretical test along with a practical component, which featured elements of a police quest. This approach allowed students to apply theoretical knowledge to real-world scenarios encountered by pre-trial investigation bodies during martial law.

At the “War Crimes Investigation” training ground, students demonstrated their skills in:

Working in investigative teams;

Engaging specialists for forensic procedures;

Using technical and criminalistic tools;

Conducting crime scene inspections;

Drafting procedural documents.

Following the state attestation, students received positive evaluations, reinforcing their motivation to advance further in their careers and serve with dignity in the National Police of Ukraine.
