A career guidance session was held for graduating students of Dnipro Gymnasium No. 84, introducing them to the Dnipro State University of Internal Affairs (DSUIA).
The event was moderated by Professor Borys Lohvynenko, Lieutenant Colonel of Police, from the Department of Administrative Law and Process, and Vadym Fursa, Major of Police, and Head of the Department of Tactical and Special Training.
The session began at the Situational Center, where students learned about the university’s programs, facilities, and admission requirements. The presentation featured informational videos showcasing cadet life and DSUIA’s future development prospects.
During a guided tour, students visited modern training grounds and specialized classrooms. They had the opportunity to test their skills in a multimedia shooting range, simulate a real courtroom trial, and explore the structure and capabilities of modern UAVs.
At the Explosive Ordnance Identification classroom, students participated in a mini-course on mine safety for civilians.
The moderators emphasized that law enforcement careers require dedication and comprehensive physical training. The university provides gyms and sports clubs to support cadet fitness. Additionally, visitors inspected the campus shelters, ensuring that DSUIA adheres to all safety regulations.
Career guidance remains a key priority for DSUIA, helping to attract motivated applicants, dispel myths, and offer a clear perspective on both the educational process and the law enforcement profession.
