Cadets of the Faculty of Pre-Trial Investigation Training at Dnipro State University of Internal Affairs took part in an introductory session on the “Custody Records” system.
The event was organized by Senior Lieutenant of Police Kristina DEREVYANKO, a lecturer at the Department of Administrative Law and Process. As part of the visit to Dniprovskyi District Police Department No. 1, cadets explored the electronic recording system used in police custody.
During the session, Inspector for Human Rights Protection, Captain of Police Oleh KUZMENKO, conducted a tour and demonstrated how the “Custody Records” system operates. This system aims to prevent unlawful detentions, enhance protection against torture and mistreatment, and safeguard police officers from false allegations of misconduct.
This experience was a crucial part of the cadets’ training, deepening their understanding of human rights compliance in law enforcement and the application of modern technologies in police work.
